Indian School Salalah celebrates 74th Independence Day
Indian School Salalah celebrated the 74th Independence Day on 15th August, 2020 virtually with great patriotic spirit and fervor. The on-screen celebration commenced with a formal welcome which was followed by a Prayer song and Indian National Anthem filling the hearts of all with true patriotic spirit and pride. To make virtual celebration memorable and fantastic a medley of patriotic songs in various languages was presented by the students. A Video Presentation channelizing the scholastic and co-scholastic activities of Indian School Salalah in this pandemic unveiled the efforts taken by management and staff to ensure academics is not affected due to this pandemic.
Addressing on the occasion Dr. Syed Ahsan Jamil, acting president of school management committee said, “We should remember the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters and national leaders. He also added that along with celebrations, comes the responsibility to make democracy and global citizenship a reality and urged students to realize their potential and work towards the prosperity of India. The Independence Day virtual celebration concluded with the vote of thanks by Master Naman Verma.
